Orienteering Victoria and Affiliated Clubs
Orienteering Victoria (or "OV") is the State Association for all Victorian orienteering activities. Local clubs are affiliated to OV. You may, at your option, become a full financial member of OV, or a local club, or both. Details of Victorian clubs can be found here.
All participants in OV events are required to register as CASUAL MEMBERS if they are not full financial members, associate members, registered officials or life members. You will need to register as a casual member at your first OV event each year (including Park and Street events). There is no fee, and you simply provide your name, age and gender, and an email address if you would like to receive the weekly Weekly Bulletin. Note that the membership benefits listed below do not apply to casual members, but you are covered by Orienteering Australia's public liability insurance. You may convert your casual membership to full membership at any time by completing the membership form below.

This year OVIC has brought in a new online registration system called Eventor - eventor.orienteering.asn.au
Registering for
membership: If you have not
registered an account on Eventor, please refer to the Registering in Eventor video.
The process can be successfully carried out without watching the video. In
order to apply for membership you need to register
an account on Eventor (http://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Register)
first.
If you are choosing family membership, each
family member will need separate registration with a separate user name; the
same password may be used for each family member.
Applying
for membership: Once registered,
login and go to My pages > My memberships and then click the Apply for
membership link. Check that you have completed your contact details in My
settings.
You can follow the example shown in the Membership for Eventor video. These videos demonstrate that a family
can register in Eventor and apply for membership in less than 20 minutes.
If you have previously registered different
members of your family separately it is still possible to apply for a family
membership by following the Membership for Eventor (family) video. This option requires a little more work
but produces the same result. This is part of a regular series outlining
how to use Orienteering Australia's online entry and membership system. For
further assistance refer to http://support.orienteering.asn.au/ or checkout the youtube videos. The help article briefly summarises how to apply for membership.
