Learn To Orienteer (LTO) Program Learn to Orienteer (LTO) Program Orienteering is an adventure sport the whole family can enjoy! Orienteering can take place anywhere, from urban areas, parks and schools to the forest and countryside. There are orienteering courses and events everywhere – on your doorstep or further afield – helping you to discover new places. Learn to Orienteer is an introductory program for all ages, with a focus on developing orienteering skills. Each session will involve fun learning activities, followed by a short orienteering course. The program covers: Skills for navigating Using a compass Orienteering map symbols (and reading the map) Participating in fun navigation games Upcoming Programs!
