MTBO Double Header Weekend, November 23 and 24

And we’ve saved the best for last! Mark it your diaries now – come to one or both of the last two MTBO events for 2024!  These events will have something for everyone.

On Saturday 23 November we have a ‘long’ sprint on a new map at Deakin Waurn Ponds.  Come and explore this ‘jewel’ of a campus for a first ever MTBO.  The campus is set amongst extensive manicured native gardens that feature sculptures and other art works as well as striking contemporary architecture.  This course will provide a technical challenge on the longer courses and provide a welcoming fun course for families on shorter or Score courses.

On Sunday 24 November the Victorian Middle Distance championships are at Anglesea. These will be age based championships plus we will be offering non- Championship courses that will particularly favour those new to MTBO and families. Several courses will feature the dramatic ‘Southern Ocean lookout’ control, vibrant wildflowers and the event will commence and finish from the Chocolaterie!

If you make a weekend of it, there will be a casual dinner at the Anglesea Hotel on Saturday night. Imagine if the sun is shining and the surfs up!! Choose one or both – but don’t miss out!

A Bulletin with full details of both of these events as well as entry details are now available on Eventor.
