Spooky Hallowe’en Fun at Bennettswood, Monday 31 October

Come to Bennettswood for Upside Down Street-O on Halloween Monday 31 October 2022 and be frightened silly on any of the 4 courses. Power Walk through this suburb of horrors or run for your life if you so desire. Start anytime from 6:30pm to 7pm and finish by 8.15pm and if you’re late… don’t be late. It’s dark, It’s depressing. It’s desolate. It’s a dream. The barrier between the Real World and the Upside Down is awfully thin on Monday.

Bennettswood is a typically peaceful neighbourhood, however lately things aren’t quite right. Light rains from La Nina have brought a dense fog to the area. Storms have damaged houses and strange eldritch voices can be heard in the misty swirls of air echoing Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc. “We gladly feast on those who would subdue us.” Not just pretty words… Be careful Adventurers, interesting times lay ahead of you. Printed materials like maps* might turn upside down and inside out. Be sure to dress in your best ‘Halloween appropriate’ warm and waterproof gear and prepare to run if something otherworldly gets too close.

*This Street-O event features an ‘upside down’ map, in mirror image. However, the clue sheet is the right way around and readable because the setter isn’t a cruel witch, just a girl that has only one thing on her mind. Homicide.

Now is the time to seek out the dark forces and join their hellish crusade, they have candy** at the finish.

**candy is limited. Dudley Dursleys need not indulge.
