Salesian and Tarneit Wrap Up Summer Shorts and Sprints

THE BIG FINISH

What a way to wind up, with a fantastic sprint at Salesian on Saturday, and an A-Maze-ing day at Tarneit on Sunday! The weather has certainly been throwing everything at us over the past 3 weekends, but everyone rose to the challenges of Melbourne in November.

Salesian may be small but it certainly packs a punch, with a bit of everything, from the elegance of Rupertswood Mansion, the heritage of the Ashes Oval, to multilevel school buildings, to chook sheds and an orchard.  Course planner Stephen Collins set up some great route choice legs and kept us all on our toes with every step. So much fun!

Tarneit College was a brand new map, and course planner Tim Hatley made great use of blocking tape to create more complexity and route choice all over the campus.  He even built an actual maze, as part of the Dynamic Duo Relay!  Congratulations to the newly crowned Victorian Sprint Champions in all age groups, including Angus Haines and Amber Riddle, who won the Cavill Cups for M21 and W21.
