Vic Champs Weekend, Mt Alexander, September 2-3 – Results and Photos

A wonderful weekend of forest orienteering was held on September 2 and 3, at Mt Alexander in central Victoria.  Helped along by superb spring weather, the two events offered challenging courses on top quality granite terrain.  It was great to see lots of interstate competitors joining the Victorians vying for Championship awards over Middle and Long Distance.

Our thanks to course planners Rex Niven and James Robertson; organising teams led by Ron Frederick (Nillumbik Emus) and Nicola Dalheim (Melbourne Forest Racers); and event advisors Tim Hatley and Chris Norwood.

Congratulations to all the winners and placegetters!  Full results, splits and Livelox links:  Vic Middle     Vic Long

Please enjoy some photos from the weekend, provided by Lincoln Paterson.
