Victorian Sprint Champs, Donvale, Sunday 26 November

The Victorian Sprint Championships are less than a month away, with two races available in one outing: the Vic Sprint Champs, followed by a Mad Dash mass start knock-out sprint-style race.

The Mad Dash courses are about two-thirds the distance and winning times of the sprint champs, focusing on a lot of direction changes and technical map reading. It will be a fun and fabulous way to end the 2023 Victorian orienteering year.

The event will be held on an urban school campus with a mixture of small irregular-shaped buildings, canopies, small passageways, gardens, outdoor seating and play areas, in a beautiful natural bushland setting. The map was previously used for Melbourne Sprint Weekend 2022.

Entries will open shortly on Eventor and one entry for the individual sprint champs automatically gives you entry into the mad dash at no additional charge.
